My name is Joe DeLapa and I am a life-long resident of Rome Township.  My family roots date back to the 1700’s in this township.

I, like many, grew up in the local community and remember wonderful memories of the beauty of the area.  We grew up swimming and boating on the banks of the Ohio River and farming and local business endeavors.

Over time, I hope to exhibit some history and photography of the Rome/Athalia/Proctorville area through this site.
